In this study, the authors investigate the role ofpresentation and production aspects in the effectiveness of teleconferencing sessions for teacher training. The authors found that language, presentation style and materials have di~ecitm pact on the teleconferencing sessions. The pace of presentation, clarity of graphs/charts/text used and teaching aids have a bearing on teleconferencing. The sessions should look natural and not as a stage managed show. The desigrr of the sessions should ensure active participation of teacher trainees.
