Learners from Ethiopia, Liberia, Madagascar and Ghana who had enrolled for the programmes and attended academic counselling workshops under IGNOU-IICBA scheme were the sample for the study. The findings reveal the success of these programmes, and particularly the utility of academic counselling workshops, as also some of the difficulties~limitations which should be taken care for such international programmes.
