Development of Learner Friendly, self-explanatory Audio Lessons for Medical Transcription

Janardan Jha

Abstract

Abstract:

This paper reports the detailed steps in the development of audio lessons for medical transcription (MT) with the help of Indian as well as international students and also visiting professors from the United States at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, India. The audio lessons administered on Medical Transcription in Distance Education (MTDE) students were found appropriate and effective. The author suggests that these methods and media should be more useful if we plan to offer long term programmes as against short-term high-pressure courses.
