In this study ttte author discusses the factors wttlch motivate students to opt for correspondence courses ofAllahabad University. The paper also discusses the problems faced by the students while pursuing their study. The findings suggestthat efforts should be made to attract and cater to disadvantaged group, including women. The problems faced by the students should be resolved on priority basis.
