Abstract

A study was conducted to compare the differences in the learning outcomes of the interactive audio-graphics teaching with that of the traditional face-to-face teaching for students enrolling in the undergraduate science courses, namelyphysics, mathematics and biology The comparative statistical t-test analysis at 5% confidence level showed that the students utilising the audio-graphics delivery system were as successful as the traditional face-to-face students for all the courses investigated.Summative analysis of the students'perception showed few inherent technical limitations to the system that could easily be minimised by simple innovations to the system. The summative analysis also revealed that the students needed solid orientation and adaptation to the technologies used so that they would be comfortable with the system leading to an effective andsuccessful learning via interactive audio-graphics.
