The Department of Open and Distance Learning at the Papua New Guinea University of Technology offers a Matriculation Programme and a Diploma in Commerce Programme through the distance mode. The main delivery of learning materials at the moment is through the print media. In this paper the author discusses how the students' accessibility to other media limits the choice of media to be employed in the delivery of learning materials.
