Emergence and Innovation in Digital Learning: Foundations and Applications
Abstract
The ever-increasing use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools in education has radically changed the education system for the better. In
the past three decades, this has ushered in many novel forms of instructional design and delivery and given rise to different forms of teaching-learning methods, such as blended learning (traditional classroom teaching with the use of ICT tools), online learning (Internet based and virtual learning), and digital learning (use of ICT tools, includes both blended and online learning). The use of emerging technologies, such as the Internet of things and big data analysis in education is paving a way for studying the behaviours of the learners to provide them with appropriate solutions.
