A Study of Distance Learners Relationship among Socio-Economic Status, Study Habits, Attitude towards Distance Learning and Academic Achievement

Abstract

Socio-economic status, study habits and attitude towards distance
learning play a very important role in bringing about the better academic
achievements. This paper aims to find out the relationship between academic
achievements and distance learner’s characteristics on certain variables
like socio-economic status, study habits, and attitude towards distance
learning. The results show that socio-economic status of distance learners
were not significantly correlated with academic achievement; however study
habits and attitude towards distance learning of distance learners were
significantly correlated with academic achievement.
