Abstract

The present study focused on examining the perception of blended learning among higher secondary school students. The study applied a descriptive survey method and included 80 students from classes 11 and 12 at the government higher secondary school in Mankote, Poonch district, Jammu region. The data was collected through purposive sampling, using a self-developed research scale to measure perceptions towards blended learning. Statistical techniques such as average mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and t-test were employed for data analysis. The study concludes that blended learning is highly interesting, effective, motivating, engaging, and beneficial for both students and teachers. It enhances the positive relationship between teachers and students, fosters interaction among students and peer groups, promotes technology-oriented learning, and develops critical thinking and skill-based education. The government should prioritise the implementation of blended learning in government institutions, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir. Adequate infrastructure is required to ensure an effective and engaging teaching-learning process.
