Training on ‘Multimedia e-Content Development using Open Source Tools’

Abstract

In modern times, new technologies are replacing old ones at a very fast rate. Higher education institutions worldover have to move fast and keep pace with the rest of the world. In this digital age, teaching/learning necessitates that the content is delivered via the internet or satellite or CDROM for a wider reach and social networking Web 2.0 tools are used for creating an interactive environment between teacher and students; and among peers. Therefore, the content needs to be developed in consonance with the e-learning environment.
