Workshop on Learner Assessment in Open and Distance Learning

Abstract

A three Day Workshop on Learner Assessment in Open and Distance Learning was organised by the Staff Training and Research Institute of Distance Education (STRIDE) as a part of faculty development activity from 14-16 October, 2015 at IGNOU Headquarters in New Delhi. This Workshop was based on the feedback of earlier participants (IGNOU Faculty) for regular training in the area of assessment and evaluation. In view of the importance of assessment in Open and Distance Learning, and the need to ensure that faculty is well trained in assessment techniques, STRIDE decided to organise this training programme on learner assessment.
