Workshop on ODLSoft for IGNOU Administrative Staff

Abstract

There have been, in the past decade, tremendous developments in ICT for distance education and training both within India and overseas. IGNOU has been experimenting with these developments in distance education not only for course development but also in office management. IGNOU initiated back office automation in 2007 and the first phase of EPRODLSoft was launched in 2009. The ODLSoft of IGNOU includes the process of finance, payroll, human resources, purchasing, inventory and other administrative aspects.
