This eBook depicts a brilliant example of group work combined with professional experiences of the students of Masters’ Degree programme in Education of Taylor Institute of Teaching and Learning at the University of Calgary. The study has been undertaken by the students of Master Degree in Education, having Ethics and Technology as a part of their course as a pilot project. The authors, engaged in the ethical implications of technology at various levels ranging from K-12 to university and professional settings, have examined deep into the ideas, and the process of open learning design by emphasizing on the potential of open educational resources i.e. writing an open Pressbook with the open participatory practices. The authors of all the chapters while giving an insight into the technological era, and its integration in education, have underlined the fundamental issue of ethical considerations and sanctity in the teaching and Research that are of prime importance today. The sequencing of chapters in the eBook is well considered. The ideas generated, concepts explained are represented in a well-planned manner having systematic flow of contents that culminate in a comprehensive study on the importance of ethical considerations in teaching-learning, research, evaluation and towards creating an equitable world.
