Attitude of Distance Mode Elementary Student-Teachers Students towards Student Support System

Higher education plays an important role in the development of a nation. Both formal and non-formal education contribute to the demands of higher education. When education is imparted through distance education, technology integration plays a dominant role in meeting the demands of the unreached. The support services provided to the learners in the DL environment determine considerably the attainment of the objectives of distance education. The present study investigates the gaps between the needs/expectations of distance learners and what has been provided to them. It evaluates the factors affecting learners’ satisfaction with the student support system and also learners’ attitude toward the Student Support System.
